As a young boy learning to play the accordian Will Starr was an inspiration, I saw him play at Kinross Town Hall to a full house. I recently purchased a CD of him playing and listening to him again was just fantastic. Thank you for having this tribute to him.

I had the pleasure of listening to will Starr many years ago In the st Mungo hall In glasgow, It was a sell out. It was packed out i had to sit on the stage with other members of the audience I was so close to him I could touch him. I thought he was fantastic playing the last post among many others.

A very fitting and appropriate tribute, thank you for doing this. Will died one year after I was born, but I have enjoyed, and continue to enjoy his music, now I am pleased to say my daugher of 18 months loves it too. As an accordionist - Will was a master!

Brilliant to see such a fitting tribute to Will on a site such as this. I had the pleasure of knowing Will over many years - Starting in the old Roxy Variety Theatre in Falkirk {not far from Will's home and a favourite venue for him} I feature his music regularly on my weekly radio show Radio Sunnyside - I have fond memories of many hours in his company over many years. A man with a great sense of humour and that wonderful "voice"
