The village of Croy is a former mining community in North Lanarkshire, Scotland (it was formerly in East Dunbartonshire). It is located on the main inter-city rail line between Glasgow on the west and Edinburgh on the east. The area was formed in 1996 from parts of the traditional counties of Dunbartonshire, Lanarkshire and Stirlingshire, but now mainly consists of the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth, Motherwell and Monklands districts.
