Will Starr's Accordions:

German, red 3-row Hohner Morino

This was his first Hohner Morino from the Hohner factory in Trossingen, Germany. It was modelled on the famous 'Shand Morino' which had been designed for Jimmy Shand, the world famous Scottish Dance Band leader.

During a tour of Korea, the heat and humidity was so intense, that the glue of the reeds mechanism melted. On his return to Scotland, Hohner exchanged that accordion with another Morino, this time in black.

Will Starr's family remembered how this was the accordion which Will mostly used on his world tours.
